How to Use Your Alcohol Marker Color Chart

  • Print on 120–160 gsm paper for best results with alcohol markers.
  • Works on US Letter or A4 paper sizes.
  • Write the marker number in each box before you color it — easy to lose track otherwise!
  • Place a plastic sheet or spare paper underneath to prevent bleed-through.
  • Let each swatch dry fully before moving to the next one.
  • Swatch in natural light so the colors are true to life.

❓ Alcohol Marker Color Chart FAQ

What is an alcohol marker color chart?

A color chart is a reference sheet where you swatch each of your markers so you can see the real color on paper. It saves time when picking colors for a project — no more testing on scrap paper every time!

What marker brands does this chart work with?

The numbered version uses codes common to many popular alcohol marker brands. The blank version works with any brand — just write in your own numbers before swatching.

What paper should I print on?

Standard copy paper works, but 120–160 gsm cardstock gives much better results with alcohol markers. Always place a protective sheet underneath to prevent bleed-through.

Is the Canva template really free?

Yes! Just click the link, open it in Canva (free account is fine), make a copy, and download as a PDF to print at home.

Can I print more than one copy?

Absolutely! Print as many as you need for personal use. These are for personal use only and may not be redistributed or sold.
